The sportsmen, Warren Luff and Corey Creed, came with impressive credentials-Luff has won one too many championships starting with the Australian Mitsubishi Mirage Cup in 19, down to the V8 Supercars Race in 2012, as also the Enduro Cup in 2015, while Corey Creed, just in his early twenties, entered a tough competition with no preparation and earned a spot to train at the prestigious Nissan GT Academy. It started with me signing a waiver that let these guys off the hook, then I put on a helmet, and strapped in to be a part of the death-defying stunts. If you’re not content with all of that, then you can sign up for the Hollywood Stunt Driver 2 show, like I did. Along with the skid marks and smell of burning rubber, there is added drama-an explosion, a fire, characters jumping right in front of the car, and more. You can be part of the audience and cheer the drivers on.

But we’ve saved the best for last-read on to be part of a high speed car chase. The park comes filled with many such rides which will have your adrenalin pumping, and even the brave will see red. Or have the good guy by your side, on Superman Escape, where he saves you from a terrible earthquake by taking you on the ride of your life. If you’re looking for some thrill, then hop on board the Arkham Asylum where you come face to face with the most deviant minds on the planet, the Joker and his band of baddies. Or save the world from evil forces on Justice League: Alien Invasion 3D, a ride where you have your own army of superheroes such as Superman, Batman, etc. The wee ones can head to Junior Driving School where you can drive even if you’re only five. Walk through the park and meet your favourite characters-pose with Bugs Bunny or Daffy Duck steer clear of the eccentric Austin Powers, or try to catch up with Speedy Gonzales. This is one of those rare spots on earth where you can find men in top hats and candy-striped suits where role play has no innuendos, and where wands and pixie dust are sold in stores.
